Staying Calm amid the Chaos

Staying Calm amid the Chaos

Your Heart – Your GPS for Life

When the times are turbulent – whether it be in your business or personal life – it is easy to become distracted, anxious and feeling like things are spiraling out of control. This is not good news for those of us who have an inner control freak that feels like its losing its grip on life…

Many of us, including myself have been feeling distracted, light-headed, sleepy (not tired but truly sleepy, like it is an effort for the body to stay upright and fight gravity), anxious, out-of-control, sensitive to sound and light, a drive to hibernate and be a hermit, wanting to take it slow and either having accidents or breaking things. The good news is you are on track with what is happening on a deeper and higher level at present.

The reasons for this are many as the planets are influencing us hugely at present. We have two eclipses in this month – see the post Balance and Harmony published earlier this month for a detailed explanation – as well as the planet Mercury in retrograde. How this happens is that Mercury slows down significantly in its trajectory around the Earth and as Earth still keeps moving, it appears as if Mercury is moving in reverse. Mercury influences communications on Earth and so at this time we may find that internet connectivity is low or erratic (I am experiencing this and so am working from a location other than the usual one), misunderstandings happen between people, emails go missing, hard-drives crash and computers play hooky…not great when the usual deadlines need to be met!

I gave up on frustration and irritation when things did not want to work the way I thought they should. I have been forced to become calm and listen to my heart for answers as the mind was spinning out of control. As I listen more I fear and stress less and a new, more creative way for me to accomplish what I need is being shown to me. My heart is connected to Truth – of who I am and what is best for me – and so the way forward has been easier and more effortless. My day often does not turn out the way I expected…it turned out better than expected and I am more relaxed and feel more in charge than before.

The good news is that things will start calming down as from 28 September. It is wise to keep implementing the new way of working through the wisdom of the heart as this is the way that will empower us the most in the times ahead.
