Channelling for your Life – Our Divine Connection

“Dear Reader.
These posts have been directly channelled through the author’s Higher Self and with the help of her Divine Entourage. It is written in simple terms for ease of understanding, from her point of view and from what she has personally experienced in her life.
Please take that which resonates with you and put the rest aside; for what may not fully make sense or resonate with you now, may very well do so at another time.”

This is a series of 4 blog posts
Post 1: Our Divine Connection
Post 2: Our Divine Help and Support
Post 3: Communicating with our Inner Being
Post 4: You and your Divine Entourage

These posts are part of a trio of Channelling your Life Workshops – Beginners, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2.

Our Divine Connection

At some point in our lives, we realise that no matter what we have been told, taught, seen, heard or attended; there is something unique out there that is bigger than us. There is some force that oversees our lives; that guides and leads us on the path we have chosen in this life. The essence of this Presence is the same, no matter what name it has been given. It could be God, Higher Power, Universe, Divine, Infinite Intelligence, etc. It really does not matter what label we give it. The very essence and fabric of this Presence is pure and simple – Unconditional Love.
I refer to it as the Divine in my writings – feel free to substitute it with whichever name you prefer.

So here we are, running around, doing our thing on Planet Earth.
How do we access this infinite power that we have for so long perceived as being outside of us? How can a part of this Divine Presence which is so huge, fit into this very small physical representation called a body?
As with all things, we are made up mostly of energy and to illustrate, let’s take the analogy of an iceberg:
The 10% of the iceberg visible above the water represents our physical body.
The 90% which is under the water represents our entire energy field / aura – made up of our various energy bodies and chakras.
What we see and perceive with our physical eyes, is literally only 10% of what we are in totality – the other 90% is ‘invisible’ as our physical eyes do not operate at the same frequency.
This larger part of us, our Higher Self, is in direct contact and communication with our Soul and therefore the Divine. This is because our Soul is the original God-Spark that started our journey through all the lifetimes we have lived. It is the part of us that has our bigger picture, knows the way Home and guides and leads us on our way while learning the lessons and having the experiences it needs for its growth. To do this, our Soul communicates with and through an aspect called our Higher Self – our I AM Presence. It is that part of us that has the highest vision of ourselves that we can aspire to and attain in a specific lifetime through our physical body experiences. This vision we have ourselves is forever expanding to higher levels and so it leads us forever onward and upward on our journey in our physical reality.

Where does this Divine Presence reside in our body?
In our heart.
The heart in the human body is the bridge between the Divine realm and the physical reality we find ourselves in. Isn’t it nice to know that you have a direct access point to this part of you that knows who you are, what you are about, what your passions and desires are, how you want to live your life, what it is you want to enjoy and the quickest way for you to get there? The next question that may arise is…

Where do ego and mind fit in?
They are part of our earthly support team. Our Soul, through the Higher Self, takes on a form called the body to live this physical reality experience. In order to express its personality and do the job it came here to do, it also gets an ego and a mind. Each has their role that is crucial to our survival as human beings.
The ego can serve us either in a positive or negative way. When it is a servant to and works together with the heart and mind, our inner truth (our Divinity), is expressed wholesomely and healthily.
Our conscious or thinking mind is here to protect and keep us safe through fear, doubt and judgement. Its capability is limited however, as it does not have the capacity to deal with the bigger picture or soul-knowing. The subconscious mind is connected with our Soul which by nature is intuitive. All our experiences from our very first lifetime have been recorded and stored in the subconscious mind – positive and negative.

When we do ‘soul-speak’ and communicate with our Higher Self through meditation or any other mindfulness practice, we communicate by connecting through our heart. Our mind and ego need to step aside and let the aspects of inner knowing, intuition, trust and synchronicity happen – which it very well may not be comfortable with. It is here we are tested into letting go of control and where the term “not my will but Divine Will be done.”

This leads us to Part 2: Our Divine Help and Support

Glad you enjoyed the writings and well done on being an aspiring blog writer.
Best thing that worked for me is to literally just write what is on my heart and get it out. I first do the creative part which is purely write. I do not do any editing / spell checks and only do that a while after I have literally typed what was wanting to be written. In this way I stay in the creative process, as editing etc takes me into logical mind. Then it is really challenging to get back into creative mode again. It may take a few tries before you find your rhythm and flow, yet it is very rewarding when you do!
      Good luck :)
